The OptimumTM syringe barrels, cartridges and pistons consumable fluiddispensing and packaging components were designed with ComputationalFluid Dynamics (CFD) software to meet the demands of today’s manufacturing processes. The Zero DraftTM syringe barrels provide an even, laminar flow of low to high-viscosity materials during filling and dispensing. The geometry eliminates any opportunity for dead spots that couldtrap air bubbles. Available in 3, 5, 10, 30 and 55cc in clear, UV-blocking and light-blocking configurations. Cartridges and Retainers-Optimum cartridges offer a larger reservoir. The robust design eliminatesthe risk of splitting. See-through cartridge retainers make it easy tomonitor fluid levels. Available in 2.5, 6, 12, 20 and 32 ounce capacities. The Pistons’ design incorporates channels that prevent air entrapment during the filling process. They mate perfectly with syringe barrels, and feature precision dual wiper edges. The End and Tip Caps incorporate a pushbutton for error-free attachment and an air-tight seal.Tip caps are vented so no air is pushed into the fluid during the installation process.
