The space-saving V-Cone FPSO Flow Meter is designed for liquid, gas or steam measurement on cramped Floating Production, Storage and Offloading Vessels operating in deepwater or remote areas. The no-moving parts design provides built-in flow conditioning, nearly eliminates the upstream/downstream straight pipe runs. It fits in tight installationsaboard FSPO Vessels as well as in sub-sea applications, while reducingpipe material costs and installation labor costs. Accuracy is +0.5%,with a repeatability of +0.1%. V-Cone operates over a flow range of 10:1 and supports line sizes from 1.3cm to 3m. It requires virtually norecalibration or maintenance over a long life. The meter is compatible with the standards set by the oil/gas production, delivery and refining industry. The meter’s design is inherently more accurate than traditional DP instruments because the flow conditioning function is built -into the basic instrument.
