The radar level transmitter Sitrans LR250 offers Process Intelligenceadvanced signal processing to evaluate dynamic echo signals. The plug-and-play compact 25GHz 2-wire device is easy to install and quick toconfigure. The level of liquids or slurries can be accurately and reliably measured in minutes. It is also suitable for chemical, pharmaceutical and hydrocarbon processing applications, including corrosive environments. The compact horn allows installation in small openings and the concentrated high frequency beam ensures interference from vessel walls is minimal. The transmitter can be programmed via the intrinsically safe infrared handheld programmer or remotely using Simatic PDM without opening the lid of the device. The graphical local user interface(LUI) displays echo profiles and diagnostic information allowing theuser to determine dynamics in the tank at a glance. The Sitrans LR250includes self-diagnostic features that are communicated to the local display and across networks.
