The compact 8012 paddlewheel flow sensor is designed for OEM applications. This IP67 protected sensor can be used in cooling systems for plastics processing (injection molding, extrusion) or cooling systems for die-casting machines, printing presses, industrial lasers, grindersor in water treatment plants. The 8012 measures the flow rate of neutral as well as aggressive media using the paddlewheel principle. It isvery compact with a modular design, which means that the same electronic components can be used for nominal diameters from 6 to 65 millimeters. Furthermore, there is a version with a non-magnetic paddle wheel that is insensitive to metallic particles in the medium and to strong magnetic fields such as those generated by induction coils. The sensorfeatures a magnetic or optical sensor principle to detect the paddlewheel speed. It offers a pressure rating of PN16, flow rates of 0.5 to 80 m³/h in media temperatures from 0 to 100°C. Port connections includeinternal thread, external thread, weld connectors, TriClamp and , flange.
