The Explorer 18i panel-PC is based on a modular concept. It offers upto 1.6 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, 60GB HDD or up to 4 x 4 GB Flash Cards performance and memory. The display can be a standard 300cd/mē, a daylight-suitable high brightness display 650cd/mē or a touch screen display. Keyboards can be customized, offering more than 30 languages and an integrated mouse. Furthermore trackballs, mouses, joysticks or touchpadsare available. Interfaces include Ethernet Ex e, USB, as well as serial ports. The device can be equiped with USB Bluetooth up to 100m, Class I, USB vers. 1.1 or USB WLAN: data transmission up to 54-108 kb/sec, WEP, WPA security. WLAN, Bluetooth and USB memory stick/-key are available for data transmission in hazardous areas zone 1/2/21 (class i,div. 1/ class i, zone 2). All components are certified as panel-mountmodules independently configurable of type of housing. Protection class: Ex II 2G Ex e mb [ia] IIC T4 - Ex ib IIC T4 - Ex II 2D Ex tD A21 IP 6X T120°. The panel-Pc has a IP 66/Nema 4X protection and is ATEX certified.
