The Fluxus GR clamp-on ultrasonic flow transducers are designed for non-invasive flow measurement of gases in pipelines from 76 to 1525mm diameter. These Lamb wave transducers are suited for high flow velocities or high acoustic damping. They are tuned to a small range of pipe wall thicknesses and intended for permanent installation. The standard Flexim GD type transducers work with shear waves and cover a wide rangeof pipe diameters and pipe wall thicknesses. Together with the portable electronic unit, Fluxus G 6725, they can be used for all mobile measurement tasks. The Fluxus G is designed for non-invasive gas flow measurement. They offer bi-directional flow measurement with high dynamics and precision over the whole measuring range. They are wear-free, having no intrusion into the pipe itself and the measurement is not influenced by a high moisture content or by dust. Typical applications arenatural gas pipelines or storage facilities, compressor stations or the offshore natural gas extraction process as well as the chemical industry.
