Sterile swivel joints safely transfer potentially damaging torsion forces on a hose to a specialised fitting, increasing the lifetime of thehoses they protect. It not only protects the hose but also the products it contains, being designed to the highest standards for food and pharmaceuticals. The internal geometry provides easy and complete cleaning as required for the critical products it transmits. The joint features:
O-ring integration to DIN 11864 standard, controlled O-ringcompression with axial loading and extreme stability to lateral forcesthrough roller bearings. Variable connections are possible with orbital welding end. The body of the joint consists of grade 1.4404 and 1.4435 stainless steel. The O-ring is made from EPDM, other seals from PTFE. Alternative materials can be provided on request. The range covers diameters from DN10 to DN25 (with orbital welding end). The swivel joint is suitable for pressures up to PN 16 and temperatures up to 130°C.
