The CS200 is a temperature measurement system for monitoring, control,and analysis of rotating kilns primarily used in cement and lime production, as well as in primary minerals processing. The combination ofinfrared sensor technology and industrial software allows accurate detection and monitoring of refractory hot spots to prevent costly kiln damage and extend production runs between refractory replacement. Thesystem scans 200 lines per revolution and offers OPC server functionality. Multiple point sensors can be installed and configured to monitor portions of the kiln shadowed from the main sensor, the results aredisplayed as one homogenous thermogram. A separate sensor is availableto monitor the burning zone of the kiln. All results are fully integrated into one display allowing the operator to monitor the complete kiln without switching back and forth between different applications. All error reports and alarm reports are fully integrated too, as is theOPC interface with other applications. The hardware offers ease of installation and use.
