Strain gauge transmitter

in a modular 6mm housing

The SensoTrans DMS strain gauge transmitter learns how to adapt to specific conditions at the touch of a button and is ready for worldwide operation in combination with an optional range of power supplies The units are suitable for all standard strain gauge force transducers andload cells and can be adapted to specific measuring tasks. Basic parameters can be set directly on location by means of DIP and rotary coding switches at the device. A teach-in function enables fine-tuning. Bypushing a button at the unit's front side, zero point, sensitivity and initial and full scale values can be adjusted and stored in the device. The model DMS P 32200 features an infrared interface to allow configuration by e.g. a PDA. The transmitters feature calibrated switchingof measuring and output ranges. It provides a 3-port isolation up to300VAC/DC according to EN 61140. All units are factory-tested at 2,5 kV AC. Featuring a 6mm wide housings and a low-loss circuit design which allows for high component density, the devices save enclosure space. The transmitters are suitable for ATEX zone 2 (EN 61508) and Class 1,Division 2 / Zone 2 (UL 1604). The model DMS P 32200P01x has a SIL 2approval by TÜV Rheinland.
