The AST4500 and AST4510 media isolated submersible pressure sensors are intended for use in intrinsically safe IS areas when used with an approved entity barrier. Constructed of all stainless steel, the sensors are approved to UL/cUL 913 (CSA) Class 1 Div 1, Groups C and D and hold an CE Approval of EN 61326. Both the are versatile and suitable ina variety of
different submersible and level measurement applications. The sensors can be submerged in liquids that are compatible with304 SS, 316L SS and Hytrel cable. Both models offer a weighted front-end nose cone and are designed to
survive in harsh environments and contain no internal O-rings. Each sensor is equipped with 100V/m ofEMI/RFI protection from electrical noise. Both models operate at a temperature range of -20 to 85°C. The AST4500 provides pressure ranges from 0-1.7 to 0-20bar and an 2.2cm diameter; the AST4510 offers 0-0.35,0-0.5, 0-0.7 and 0-1bar with a 2.5cm diameter. Output options include: 1-5V, and 4-20mA.
