The magnetostrictive liquid level sensor Level Plus is designed for process level measurement, bulk storage, interface and temperature measurement. The magnetostrictive sensing technology is non-contacting andmaintenance-free. Level measurement is possible in tanks up to 18m. The sensor is suited for the pharmaceutical, biotech, specialty chemicals, petroleum, propane, petrochemical and food and beverage industries.It measures product level, interface level and temperature data all from one sensor, through one opening in the vessel. The output signalsare 4-20mA with Multi-drop HART communication or EIA-485 Communicationwith DDA
Protocol or Modbus. Its housing packages meet global standards for hazardous locations (FM/CSA/ATEX/NEPSI/JIS) and sanitary 3Astandards. The sensors are not affected by changes in dielectric constant or atmospheric or temperature conditions. They do not require re-calibration and perform each of these diagnostics: calculation error,absence of level reading, average temperature error, digital thermometer status and Modbus/DDA errors.
