The JSNY10 emergency-stop grab wire safety switch disconnects the machine or equipment, if somebody pulls the wire or if the wire breaks. Itcan be easily mounted and reached along
machines, conveyors, transportation or production lines and processes, it can replace several emergency-stop pushbuttons. Moreover, the grab wire can be positioned at waist height, such that it causes a shutdown, if someone walks intoor falls onto the line. The length of the grab wire is up to 25m, or up to 50m when using two switches, one at each end. The switch has fourcontacts, if the wire is pulled, two of the contacts open. If the wire breaks, the other two contacts open. In both cases a dual channel machine stop signal will be given. In order to reset the switch, the integral mushroom-head slam button has to be actuated. The contacts of the switch are disconnected by force and mechanically pulled apart, thuspreventing the contacts from welding or sticking.
