Krohne's UFM 3030 flow meter has been approved in accordance with DINEN 1434 by the PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) as a hot water meter for transfer of thermal energy. Ultrasonic flowmeters are used in power plants, combined heat and power installations or boiler houses. They are used to allocate thermal energy in buildings and to deliver thermal energy to larger power users such as utility or office buildings. Krohne's ultrasonic flowmeter has a compact, fully-welded allsteel body and does not contain gaskets or o-rings in the transducerassembly.
