The award winning Bulk Solids Pump (BSP) feeder line is being expandedwith two models, the BSP-135 and the BSP-150-P. Volumetric and gravimetric versions of each model will be available. The BSP-135 loss-in-weight feeders can be configured using a platform scale, with either three-point or one-point suspension weighing. The BSP-150-P can be configured as a loss-in-weight feeder using three-point suspension weighing.The BSP feeders do not use the usual screws/augers, belts or vibratory trays to convey the material. They utilise positive displacement action to feed free-flowing materials offering uniform discharge, consistent volume and gentle handling. The BSP feeders have vertical rotating discs that create feeding ducts. Material moves smoothly from storage hopper to discharge outlet through a product lock-up zone, achieving linear mass flow. With no pockets or screws and only one moving part, these compact feeders are cleaned in seconds, making them suitable for applications with frequent material changes.
