Eurotherm has announced its latest family of data recording solutions,the 6000 series. The supplier claims that this range of data recording products sets new standards in terms of ease of use and configuration, security of data and adaptability. The series, consisting of two advanced graphical, paperless recorder models supported by a range of hardware and software options, replaces the previous Eurotherm 5000V series, with full software compatibility and interchangeability. The model 6100A uses a digital ¼ VGA colour touch screen display, while the larger unit, the 6180A, uses a larger XGA display (1024 x 768 pixels) offering higher resolutions and sharper images. The series also featuresEurotherm's Bridge software, which provides the user with a secure and simple connection to the instrument from anywhere having access to alocal or remote network. From this remote connection, the user can carry out any operation that could be done on the instrument itself. Thedata is viewed in real-time with automatic screen refresh.
