The range of Pipe Stopping Plugs seals pipes and tubes between 3.8 and15cm to full pressure and leak tightness. Such plugs are used for sealing or blocking pipes, testing for leaks and to prevent entry of unwanted foreign material. They have adequate remaining thread for complete sealing with the cap and allow good use of hose connections. A number of plug sizes are available with extended shafts to manufacture double plugs for extra leak tightness and stability to insert the seal further inside a pipe. For pipes that are covered by a fascia or border,the longer length shafts allow operators to install the seal inside the pipe whilst expanding the plug clear of the obstruction. The plugs can be delivered with full size Nitrile, Neoprene, Viton or other synthetic rubber seals to allow use with harmful or corrosive chemicals andfluids. They use a tough wing nut with a friction free washer underneath to make plug tightening easier.
