|The MAQlink 3000, 5000, and 8000 is a compact, high-speed multi-channel data acquisition system that delivers essential oscilloscope capabilities. It can easily be interfaced with a desktop or laptop PC. It can accommodate multiple 8-, 10-, and 12-bit CompactPCI digitizers. Thedata acquisition system is designed for high throughput measurements and analysis of many different analog signals in high-energy physics, hydrodynamics, astrophysics and ultrasound applications. In addition tothe PC interface, the system can accommodate up to 28 high-speed acquisition channels. These channels are all controlled through the AcqirisMAQS multi-channel acquisition software installed on the interfaced PC. Once installed, there is no need for extensive software. Vital information can be seen with a multiple waveform display on the PC monitor. Data is more accessible with an oscilloscope-like graphical user interface (GUI). The system’s modularity enables users to select only thehardware components needed for a specific application and expand to alarger system as needs grow.
