The Variflow centrifugal pump series has been extended with two typesfor higher capacities. The TP 2575 is designed for the operation of lower flow capacities and high pressures. For higher flow capacities upto 220m3/h the TP 16040 has been developed. The TP series offers eight different capacity ranges, designed for the hygienic pumping of biologically demanding media up to a viscosity of 500mPas. Low flow velocities and gentle discharge of media through the spiral housing ensure gentle product handling. The spiral housing is made of rolled stainlesssteel. This material has an excellent surface quality of Ra<0.8 µm, suited for cleaning in CIP/SIP processes. A hygienic mechanical sealingis used with an isolated spring outside the product room. As an option flushing mechanical seals are available. The pumps offer: flow ratesof up to 220m3/h; pump heads of up to 90m w.c.; open impeller with optimum hydraulic properties; low-noise operation; EHEDG approved and certified.
