The SVCam-GigE camera family is designed according to the new international GigE-Vision-Standard. The cameras are available in various resolutions from VGA, XVGA, 1, 2, 4 up to 11 mega pixels. With a small sizeof only 51 x 55 x 65 mm these cameras can be used in space limited environments. The use of Gigabit-Ethernet makes frame grabber boards dispensable. The cameras uses progressive scan CCD-sensors, as CCDs stillprovide higher image quality compared to CMOS-sensors. The models areavailable as monochrome or colour versions. The progressive scan abilities make jitter-free images possible. The GigE line possess a hardware trigger input as well as a strobe output. Both can be flexibly configured. They feature a high-precision timestamp that is assigned automatically to each image. For system integration and camera configuration suitable software tools are provided. Network packet filter, cameradriver, SDK and an application to acquire images and control the device are delivered with each camera.
