The VNX-50 continuous electro-deionization (CEDI) module is designed to offer a cost-effective solution for large water purification systems. CEDI modules use ion-permeable membranes, ion exchange resin and electricity to purify the RO permeate. The typical energy consumption forCEDI is only 0.25kW per 1000 litres, while maintenance requirements are negligible, making it highly efficient to run. The VNX modular design is based on 11.4 m3/hr nominal flow rate building blocks. The module has a flow range of 0.75 to 1.50 times the nominal flow rate, resulting in a maximum flow rate capacity of 17.0 m3/hr. Its compact designand stackability allow manufacturers to product high flows of deionized water in a fraction of the footprint of conventional deionization systems. This allows more room for manufacturing use.
