The converter offers Class 1 oil-free compressed air in compliance with ISO 8573. It is a cost effective, reliable and maintenance friendlyalternative to oil-free compressors or high maintenance downstream treatments. The catalytic converter contains compact granulated pellets through which the compressed air circulates. This process breaks down and converts both oil droplets and oil vapours. The condensate is completely oil-free and can be disposed of through a normal pure water storm drain. Most of the thermal energy required is generated by the process itself so the cost of additional heating is minimised. The converter offers an expected useful life of 15,000 operating hours. At the endof this time the container with the catalytic converter granulate issimply replaced.
