The AQUACON CLO2 chlorine dioxide analyser is claimed to be the firstprocess analyser which automatically determines the chlorine dioxide concentration in water (measurement range: 0.02 - 1 ppm). A proprietaryreagent based on chlorophenol red is injected into the sample via a high precision peristaltic pump until the sample turns the colour. An optical sensor recognises the colour change. The microprocessor calculates the chlorine dioxide concentration based on reagent consumption and displays the results via a 3 digit LED. An additional pump for delivering a cleaning solution is included. The AQUACON CLO2 only determines the actual chlorine dioxide concentration and ignores other oxidizing substances that could influence the measurement. A scalable output (0/4-20 mA) allows a recording of the measured values.
