Euchner has introduced an upgrade to its STM safety switch. It is designed for guard locking to accommodate higher operating forces up to 2000N. The plastic-bodied switch has a compact housing and can be supplied with optional encapsulated actuating heads made from plastic or asa more robust metal version. The small physical size, combined with the choice of standard or heavy duty operation, makes this product suitable for machine builders. The switch is suitable for door swing radiidown to 300mm.
