Allen-Bradley Guardmaster's MSR144RTP monitoring safety relay and itstwo types of expander units are designed to meet the demands of OEM machine builders. The aim is: modular equipment that is simple to install; reduces installation costs; and offers a broad specification to cater for most types of applications. The design overcomes a common problem faced by OEMs: the requirement to switch several safety circuits ordifferent voltages with one E-stop command. It can be connected in four different input wiring configurations: 1 NC, 2NC, 2 PNP connectionsfrom a light curtain, or a four wire safety mat.
