The Gammapilot M FMG60 level transmitter is ideal for a range of applications – from level limit detection and continuous level measurementthrough to interface layer and density measurement. It is based on theradiometric technique, which is used in level measurement applications where other methods fail because of extreme conditions such as toxicity, abrasion, high temperatures, high pressures or baffles. The transmitter uses gamma ray detectors in different lengths to guarantee optimum adaptation to requirements. Its two separate connection compartments and the robust stainless steel housing make it suitable for harshenvironments and demanding process conditions. The instrument was developed in accordance with the international standard for functional safety IEC61508 and has SIL2 (Safety Integrity Level) approval for overspill protection, making it suitable for all safety-related processes.
