Bimor is a new range of pumps that create their flow using a “bimorph.” This is two parallel piezoelectric wafers that expand and contractin line with the supply voltage sine wave. The Bimor pump is said to run on an exceedingly low current, emits virtually no electromagnetic field, no vibration, no noise, no fluctuations in flow and because there are no motors, shafts or other intricate mechanisms it is lighter, quieter and more durable than any other traditional pump and will lastfor years.
